Good Morning America celebrated Make-A-Wish’s annual World Wish Day by shining the spotlight on 17-year-old Jillian Sommers, whose wish recently came true backstage at the hit Broadway musical Six. The California native was born with congenital heart disease. Despite her health struggles, Sommers had loved Broadway from an early age.

Friends in Theater Company and State of Play Productions' THE SECRET GARDEN, a Broadway benefit for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, presented the first of two sold-out performances last night, January 11, at 7:30 p.m. at theLucille Lortel Theater. The fully staged production, directed/choreographed by Curtis Holbrook, was led by Rebecca Luker as Lily, Gabriella Pizzolo as Mary, and Bradley Dean as Archie with Tom Deckman, Ali Ewoldt, Frances Mercanti-Anthony, Bill Nolte, Eli Tokash, Max von Essen, and Cortney Wolfson. Godspell in Concert will be performed on Monday 19th May 2014 at the Lyric Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue in aid of Make-A-Wish Foundation UK. The show, which was last seen in the West End over 40 years ago, will be introduced by David Essex and feature a West End line-up including Zoe Tyler, Andy Abraham and Stewart Clarke. Special guests include members of the original West End cast, Marti Webb, Gay Soper and Tom Saffery.
