The high-flying original musical comedy 'Bring It On: The Musical' launched its national tour earlier this month and is now playing in Los Angeles with a six-week engagement at the Center Theatre Group / Ahmanson Theatre through December 11, 2011. Broadway World TV's Los Angeles Correspondent and Co-Producer Michael Sterling, with Associate Producer Jerry Evans of the JLE Media Group, Inc. joined the opening weekend festivities for Bring It On: The Musical, which premiered Friday, November 11 at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre.

Tony Award-winning composer/lyricist Lin-Manuel Miranda and the cast of 'Bring It On: The Musical' took part in a celebration kicking off the ation tour of the musical on October 22, 2011. Also there were cheer squads from Narbonne High School (Harbor City), Mira Mesa High School (San Diego), Hart High School (Santa Clarita) and Santa Monica High School (Santa Monica); dance squads from St. Genevieve High School (Panorama City) and Los Alamitos High School (Los Alamitos); Glendale Community College's cheer squad, UCA cheer and dance instructors and a pep band. Guest hosts included KIIS FM's JoJo, Telemundo's Jorge Bernal and Hannah of 'The Glee Project.'

Center Theatre Group begins its 2011-2012 season at the Ahmanson Theatre on a high-octane energy note with the West Coast premiere of 'Bring It On: The Musical,' an original musical comedy presented October 30 through December 10, 2011. (Opening is set for November 11.) A celebration kicking off the national tour of 'Bring It On: The Musical' featuring performances by the cast, routines by local cheer and dance squads, dance/cheer lessons, audience competitions, a live DJ, local TV and radio personalities, ticket giveaways and a traveling pep rally down CityWalk, and Tony winner and musical creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, on October 22.
