Andrew Coopman (they/he) is a genderqueer director, choreographer, playwright, devisor, performer, and teaching artist of Middle Eastern/European descent. Their work has been on stages around the country in cities like Chicago, Milwaukee, New York, and all over the Puget Sound area. Andrew is also one of the 2022-23 Drama League FutureNow Directing Fellowship recipients.
A recent graduate of the Masters of Fine Arts in Directing program at the University of Washington School of Drama, Andrew directed everything from Sophie Treadwell's MACHINAL to LeAnne Howe's SAVAGE CONVERSATIONS to Annie Baker's BODY AWARENESS.
