Tartaglia earned a Tony Award® nomination for his performance in the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, Avenue Q, for which he originated the roles of Princeton and Rod. Michael was born in California, US and was raised in the mountains of Tennessee. He says he has been singing since as far back as he can remember, back to when he was a little kid. He received his Bachelors of Music from Stetson University and his Masters of Music from the New England Conservatory, both degrees in classical singing.
