Berlind was a New York City theatrical producer and board member of Lehman Brothers Holdings, Inc. and Lehman Brothers Inc. He was one of the founders of Carter, Berlind, Potoma & Weill in 1960, a company that would later through Sandy Weill become Shearson Loeb Rhoades, which was eventually sold to American Express in 1981 for approximately $930 million in stock. Previous work in New York/on Broadway includes Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Putting It Together and The Makropulos Case and Nabucco for the Metropolitan Opera. Lisa Makin is a Broadway casting director. Trevor Nunn was educated at Downing College, Cambridge, and in 1962 he won an ABC Director’s Scholarship to the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry, where, as resident director, his productions included The Caucasian Chalk Circle, Peer Gynt and a musical version of Around the World in Eighty Days. He recently returned to the Belgrade to direct a production of Scenes from a Marriage. In 1964, Trevor joined the RSC, and was made the company’s youngest-ever artistic director in 1968.
