The horrible Herdmans are the worst kids in the history of the world. The entire town panics when these rowdy six siblings are cast in the church's annual Christmas pageant. It's up to good-hearted Mrs. Bradley to help the Herdmans - and the rest of the town - discover the true meaning of Christmas before it's too late. Silent night? The Orleans Hotel and Casino will bring celebrated entertainment to The Orleans Showroom in December, including exclusive previews of the documentary "Feek's Vision," the holiday shows Home for Christmas with Lani Misalucha and "Merry Christmas Darling: Carpenters' Christmas,"  as well as swing revival group Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. December entertainment will also feature free live entertainment at Bourbon Street Lounge as well as free rodeo week events throughout the month.

Reality turns out to be somewhat different, of course, as Stage West presents its first musical since moving back to its Vickery playhouse, James Valcq and Fred Alley's engaging and warm-hearted The Spitfire Grill, based on the film by Lee David Zlotoff, beginning Thursday, July 9.
