Hamilton Show Information
Hamilton is the winner of the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and is up for a record-breaking 16 Tony Award nominations, including Best Musical. With book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical direction and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, Hamilton is based on Ron Chernow’s biography of America’s Founding Father Alexander Hamilton.The Broadway creative team will recreate designs for the tour.
The national touring company will launch at San Francisco's SHN Orpheum Theatre in March 2017, where it will play for 21 weeks before moving on to the Hollywood Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles August 11-December 30.
