The Riverdale Rising Stars presents the first public performances of the new musical revue MID-LIFE 2! (The Crisis Continues). The Al Hirschfeld Foundation has just learned that never before available works by legendary artist Al Hirschfeld (1903 - 2003) are featured in today's January 24 Swann Galleries auction.

Swann Auction Galleries will offer a selection of Broadway drawings by caricaturist Al Hirschfeld during its sale of 20th Century Illustration on January 24. Among the Hirschfeld highlights is a signed and inscribed drawing of Fanny Brice Singing 'Modernistic Moe,' in the Ziegfeld Follies of 1936 (estimate: $3,000 - 4,000). This is one of the earliest Broadway illustrations.

Riverside Theatre's Simply Amazing Season continues with the Broadway smash musical hit, Funny Girl. Nominated for eight Tony Awards including Best Musical Best Lead Actor and Actress and Best Original Score, the show was an immediate hit with audiences with an inspiring and beloved score including classic favorites 'Don't Rain on My Parade,' 'I'm the Greatest Star,' 'The Music That Makes Me Dance' and the iconic hit, 'People.
