BWW Interviews: Florence Henderson
by Joseph F. Panarello - Feb 5, 2010

It's hard to pinpoint the exact moment when Florence Henderson became a household name. Perhaps it was because of the proliferation of commercials she did for Polident and Wesson Oil; the latter in which she helped coin the phrase 'Wessonality'. Obviously her long stint as Mrs. Carol Brady in 'The Brady Bunch' played a major role in her becoming not only a name people easily recognized, but a talent that has genuinely been appreciated by different generations down through the years.

by Eddie Varley - Oct 29, 2008

According to The New York Post's PAGE SIX, Mel Brooks might have changed his 'tune' when it comes to Cloris Leachman reprising her film role of Frau Blucher in his Broadway production of Young Frankenstein. Last year, Mel Brooks, creator and producer of the Broadway musical comedy, told Leachman that, at 81, she was too old for the role of Frau Blucher (the character she originated in his 1974 movie). Despite a stellar audition, Brooks was concerned that Leachman didn't have the 'stamina' for eight shows a week reports the Post.
