Tensions between the two countries constantly arise, centering around the DMZ (demilitarized zone) that borders them. A nuclear war, for many military analysts, is most likely to start in the Korean peninsula. Author Brian D. Pardo's 'A Year In The Sun' is a story about the Korean conflict and the many lives it has affected.

The Chattanooga Symphony & Opera continues its commemoration of the Civil War sesquicentennial by presenting a Barnett & Company Masterworks concert featuring American composers and capped off with Copland's Lincoln Portrait, narrated by City of Chattanooga Mayor Andy Berke.

In celebration of the 75th anniversary of Thornton Wilder's great dramatic homage to small-town American life and the greater universal experience of life, The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey presents Our Town beginning October 17th and continuing through November 17th at the F.M.
