The Museum of the City of New York presents its greatly anticipated permanent exhibition New York at Its Core. Five years in the making, New York at Its Core is the first-ever museum show to comprehensively interpret and present the compelling story of New York's rise from a striving Dutch village to today's "Capital of the World," a preeminent global city now facing the future in a changing world.

For one night only, Dessoff presents We Remember including Mozart's Requiem and contemporary choral works reflecting on the lives of President John F. Kennedy and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and paying tribute to composer Steven Stucky, a champion of new music.

Actress, entrepreneur and mother, Monica Potter, best known for her role in NBC-TV's Parenthood, returns to Cleveland to renovate her childhood home near the shore of Lake Erie in HGTV's new series WELCOME BACK POTTER.

Pablo Heras-Casado will return to the New York Philharmonic to conduct Bartok's Dance Suite; Bruch's Violin Concerto No. 1, with Concertmaster Frank Huang as soloist; and Dvo?ak's Symphony No. 7, Thursday, October 27, 2016, at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, October 28 at 11:00 a.m.; Saturday, October 29 at 8:00 p.m.; and Tuesday, November 1 at 7:30 p.m.

New Museum announced their upcoming exhibition schedule for the 2016-2017 season, which includes Pipilotti Rist, Cheng Ran, My Barbarian, Raymond Pettibon, and A.K. Burns.

The New York Empire presented by Citi today unveiled a diverse star-studded lineup of National Anthem singers for its inaugural Mylan World TeamTennis presented by GEICO season at the venerable Forest Hills Stadium at The West Side Tennis Club, the home of the US Open for over 60 years. COSTA MESA, CA – Segerstrom Center for the Arts welcomes the return of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in an exclusive Southern California engagement April 6 – 10, 2016. The program includes eight works never before seen at the Center, four Southern California premieres and new productions of Ailey classics. The Old Globe welcomes Globe Artistic Director Barry Edelstein, making his musical directing debut with RAIN, a sumptuous world premiere musical by one of the most significant teams working in theatre today: composer and lyricist Michael John LaChiusa and book writer Sybille Pearson. Based on the short story by Somerset Maugham, RAIN will play now through May 1, 2016 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.
