For two weeks in December, the Lovelace Studio Theatre at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts will be transformed into the intimate nightclub world of Cabaret. On September 16, 2015 The Playhouse on Rodney Square will begin selling single tickets for its much-anticipated Broadway in Wilmington series. The series includes six productions: ANNIE, CHICAGO The Musical, MAMMA MIA, BLUE MAN GROUP, 42ND STREET, and JERSEY BOYS. This will be the first opportunity patrons have to purchase tickets for individual shows without a season subscription or Choose Your Own Series package, although these options are still available for those interested in multiple shows.

Broadway In Chicago is thrilled to announce the quintessential backstage musical comedy classic 42nd STREET will celebrate a two-week engagement at the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W. Bill Hanney, Owner/Producer of Theatre By The Sea in Matunuck, RI announced today that local culinary favorite Rich Paolo from Pamfilio's Restaurant in Cumberland, RI will be operating the theater's on-site restaurant, Bistro By the Sea. The partnership is effective immediately and the restaurant will be in full operation for the 2015 theater season.

From Berlin to Broadway with Kurt Weill made its journey to the Kansas City theater scene with the opening Saturday night February 14 at the White Theatre located at the Jewish Community Center in Overland Park. The White Theatre celebrates two first on their stage with Paul Hough directing the debut of From Berlin to Broadway with Kurt Weill and the first time the musical appeared at the theater. Hough directed the play in Los Angeles in 1985, winning the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for Production and Direction. Hough was Director of Production for the American Heartland Theatre from 1996 until it closed its doors in 2013.

The Oregon Shakespeare Festival's (OSF) production of Into the Woods will move to Beverly Hills, Calif., as part of the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts' 2014-15 season. With music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine, Into the Woods heads to the Wallis' Bram Goldsmith Theater tonight, December 2, and runs through the 21st.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) has announced the full lineup of productions, concerts, readings and special events for its 11th annual festival. This year's Festival will begin July 7th and continue through July 27th.

The Wallis Center for the Performing Arts presents Maurice Hines is Tappin' Thru Life for 19 performances only from May 9 - 24, 2014 in the Bram Goldsmith Theater. Maurice Hines, a Tony Award nominee, is a celebrated dancer, choreographer, director, and singer, whose impressive career spans over 40 years. Directed by Tony Award nominee Jeff Calhoun (Broadway's Newsies and Grey Gardens), Maurice Hines is Tappin' Thru Life features D.C.'s dynamic tap-dancing duo, the Manzari Brothers, as well as the all-female, nine-piece big band, The Diva Jazz Orchestra.
