Writers' Theatre Artistic Director Michael Halberstam and Executive Director Kathryn M. Lipuma announce the World Premiere of A Minister's Wife, a new musical adapted from George Bernard Shaw's Candida, conceived and directed by Michael Halberstam with musical direction by Richard Casey. A Minister's Wife was adapted by Austin Pendleton with music by Joshua Schmidt and lyrics by Jan Tranen.

New Federal Theatre, Inc., under the direction of Founder and Producing Director Woodie King, Jr., will begin previews of Richard Abrons' comedy/drama, Three Travelers, at St. Clements Theatre Sunday, January 13, 2008. The official opening will be on Thursday, January 24, 2008. Jay Broad Directs.

Arena kicks off performances in this temporary location, known now as Arena Stage in Crystal City, with the swinging new musical Ella, conceived by Rob Ruggiero and Dyke Garrison with book by Jeffrey Hatcher.

Award-winning musical director and choreographer Barry Ivan will be filling some pretty big shoes when he takes over the reins as artistic director and executive producer of the North Shore Music Theatre in Beverly, Massachusetts this coming February.
