The revised version of the 1970s musical "Working," that montage of monologues with the Frankenstein score that is usually called "the blue collar 'A Chorus Line'" (though it isn't), opened on Wednesday night in the town that originally birthed it, full of life and emotion and enough Chicago grit, grime and elbow grease to give it another 35 years in the repertoire, and then some.

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced three productions as part of the 2011-2012 theatrical season. Bob Fosse's Dancin', a masterful tribute to legendary choreographer Bob Fosse, directed by Graciela Daniele, will play Studio 54 in the Fall of 2011. Sons of the Prophet by Stephen Karam, directed by Peter DuBois, will also premiere this Fall, while Look Back in Anger by John Osborne, directed by Sam Gold, will hit the stage in the Winter of 2012.

NBC will celebrate the lighting of the world's most famous Christmas tree once again with a live broadcast from Rockefeller Center in New York City on Tuesday, November 30 (8-9 p.m. ET/PT). The star-studded holiday special will feature performances by Boyz II Men, Susan Boyle, Mariah Carey, Charice, Sheryl Crow, Jackie Evancho, Josh Groban, Katherine Jenkins, Annie Lennox, Kylie Minogue, Jessica Simpson and The Radio City Rockettes with a mix of current hits and holiday classics.The 78th annual holiday extravaganza will feature a tree that is 74 feet high, 40 feet in diameter and weighs a whopping 12 tons.

The 2011 Center Theatre Group/Mark Taper Forum season was announced today by Center Theatre Group Artistic Director Michael Ritchie. Stellar actors such as Jane Fonda, John Lithgow and Olympia Dukakis will be featured in plays by Moisés Kaufman, John Lithgow and Morris Panych, respectively, plus works by Lanford Wilson and Theresa Rebeck will be presented in the Taper's 44th season at the Los Angeles Music Center.
