Lookingglass Theatre Company announces new leadership positions. Joining Artistic Director Heidi Stillman and Executive Director Rachel L. Fink to lead the theatre, the Board has elected Nancy Timmers, a prominent civic leader and philanthropist, as Board Chair and Richard Chapman, Member of Counsel at Clark Hill PLC, as Board President. Lookingglass has also appointed Hilary Odom as the company's new Director of Development.

Celebrate the decade that birthed the third oldest LGBT theatre in the country and the resilience of our community. The event features a special concert performance of highlights from the Tony Award-winning musical Falsettos.

The Public Theater announced today that Louis Cancelmi, last seen as Caliban in the Shakespeare in the Park production of The Tempest, has joined the company of TROILUS AND CRESSIDA as Achilles. He is replacing David Harbour who suffered an injury during previews and will be unable to complete the run. The new press opening will now be Tuesday, August 9.

The Public Theater announced additional casting today for the 2015 Free Shakespeare in the Park season, beginning Wednesday, May 27 at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park. This summer will feature Shakespeare's late romances with THE TEMPEST, directed by Tony Award nominee Michael Greif, and CYMBELINE, directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan. Jesse Tyler Ferguson will return to the Park this summer as Trinculo in THE TEMPEST, along with Hamish Linklater and Lily Rabe teaming up again with Daniel Sullivan on CYMBELINE to play Posthumus Leonatus/Cloten and Imogen, respectively.

Riverside Theatre's 2014-2015 season continues with the award-winning play, Underneath The Lintel. This compelling adventure by Glen Berger is funny, touching and surprising and performs on the Waxlax Stage from January 27 through February 8, 2015. Underneath The Lintel is sponsored by Dick & Rosemary Haverland, John & Marilyn McConnell, Ray & Sonia McGowan, and Bobbie Olsen along with Riverside Theatre's Patron Producers.

Principal casting has been announced for the upcoming world premiere production of AN AMERICAN IN PARIS. The cast will include Robert Fairchild as Jerry Mulligan, Leanne Cope as Lise Dassin, Veanne Cox as Madame Baurel, Jill Paice as Milo Davenport, Brandon Uranowitz as Adam Hochberg, and Max Von Essen as Henri Baurel.

Kicking off its 26th Season, Lookingglass Theatre Company presents the World Premiere stage adaptation of Marguerite Duras' The North China Lover, translated byLeigh Hafrey and adapted and directed by Ensemble Member Heidi Stillman. The North China Lover runs September 25 - November 10, 2013 at Lookingglass Theatre Company, located inside Chicago's historic Water Tower Water Works, 821 N. Michigan Ave. at Pearson. Following its acclaimed 16-week run at the Lookingglass Theatre Company this fall, Metamorphoses brings the mythical tales of Ovid to life at Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater, 10 years after the Broadway premiere. Written and directed by Tony Award winner Mary Zimmerman, Metamorphoses is based on David Slavitt's translation and marks the first time Zimmerman will direct the production since its Broadway run. This is also the first time Zimmerman will stage Metamorphoses in the round, and a custom set will be designed with the largest pool of water ever created for this production. Metamorphoses dives onto the Fichandler Stage tonight, February 8-March 17, 2013.
