Back in February, BroadwayWorld reported that stage and screen star Kevin Kline would star in The Acting Company's reading presentation of Noel Coward's charming comedy PRESENT LAUGHTER. Now he's taking the show to Broadway, according to the New York Times.

American Theater Company (ATC) has restructured its 2016-17 Season and will present three of four previously announced plays, with an updated production schedule.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company announced today that Debra Monk will play the title role in VISITING EDNA, a world premiere play by David Rabe, directed by Steppenwolf Artistic Director Anna D. Shapiro.

American Theater Company (ATC) proudly announces Season 32, led by its newly appointed Artistic Director Will Davis and continuing the theater's dedication to developing new works. Off-Broadway's acclaimed Classic Stage Company today announced plans for its 2016-17 season, led by incoming Artistic Director John Doyle and Managing Director Jeff Griffin. Doyle, a Tony Award winner for Sweeney Todd and the director of Broadway's highly-praised new production of The Color Purple, assumes the artistic leadership of CSC beginning in July, succeeding Brian Kulick, who has led the company since 2003. For CSC, Doyle has directed Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Passion and Rodgers & Hammerstein's Allegro, and later this season will direct Henrik Ibsen's Peer Gynt.

St. Petersburg City Theatre begins its 91st Mainstage Season, presented by Raymond James, with Pulitzer-Prize winning CRIMES OF THE HEART, written by Beth Henley. Opening night is tonight, September 18 , 2015 and the production runs through September 27, 2015. There is a talk-back planned on September 20 following the performance.
