Abney Park Cemetery in Stoke Newington becomes the Devonshire moor in 09 Lives' production of The Hound of the Baskervilles. Lil Warren directs the promenade show in the creepy setting, with only minimal lighting accompanying Holmes (Giorgio Galassi) and Watson (Gary Cain) as they try to solve perhaps their most notorious of cases. Arthur Conan Doyle himself (Angus Chisolm) is the evening's emcee, pitching in with background information, backstories, and leading the audience onto the next scene through the tombstones aided by facilitators with flashlights.

Mint Theater Company Producing Artistic Director Jonathan Bank today announced that before Mint presets the World Premiere pairing of Chekhov/Tolstoy: Love Stories, adapted for the stage by Miles Malleson (playwright of the acclaimed Mint productions Conflict and Yours Unfaithfully), Mint will present a staged reading of Malleson's first full-length play Youth, for one night only on Monday October 28th at 7:30pm at Theater Row (410 West 42nd Street between 9th and Dyer Avenues). Matt Dickson directs a cast featuring Kate Abruzzese, Donald Corren, Margaret Daly, Christian DeMarais, Andrew Fallaize, Michael Frederic, Alex Mandell, Brenda Meaney, Ned Noyes, and Tommy Schrider.

Mint Theater Company Producing Artistic Director Jonathan Bank today announced the World Premiere pairing of Chekhov/Tolstoy: Love Stories, adapted for the stage by Miles Malleson (Conflict, Yours Unfaithfully), directed by Jonathan Bank & Jane Shaw. In addition to acting in, co-writing and co-producing the acclaimed show, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer also scored the music for most of the three seasons, where just like his character, the musician best known as Little Steven of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band and an accomplished solo artist who helped pioneer the rock-meets-soul sound, also delved into some terrain foreign to him: the worlds of New York jazz and Norwegian folk music.

As Little Steven gets ready to embark on his North American Summer Of Sorcery tour in support of the recently released new album, the ever-prolific Rock and Roll Hall Of Famer is excited to share two more songs from his forthcoming score for 'Lilyhammer,' Netflix's first-ever series that actormusician Steven Van Zandt starred in, co-wrote and co-produced from 2012-2014. The swinging jazz tune, 'Lilyhammer Nocturne (Theme From Lilyhammer),' and the bluesy rocker 'Espresso Martini,' showcase the diversity and eclecticism found on the two corresponding volumes of the 'Lilyhammer' score which will be released for the first time on July 12 via Wicked CoolUMe as two separate albums: Volume 1: Jazz and Volume 2: Folk, Rock, Rio, Bits And Pieces.

The Washington Stage Guild continues its season of great writers with the Washington premiere of Bloomsday by Steven Dietz. This delicate, time-bending romance is set in James Joyce's Dublin on June 16th, the date on which Joyce's Ulysses is set. Robert returns to that city 35 years after meeting Caithleen on a walking tour of Joyce's Dublin. He and Cait meet again and revisit their youthful relationship, amid the echoes of Joyce's masterwork, and the missed connections of that earlier time in their lives.
