Tony-nominated actor Alan Campbell (Sunset Blvd.) will appear as famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright in a staged reading of Truth Against the World: The Life and Loves of Frank Lloyd Wright, a new solo play by writer-director Christine Toy Johnson.

Co-directed with precision by Christina A. Coakley and Susan Marie Rhea, Keegan's PARADE keeps the staging simple and imaginative, cutting away clutter and using only the barest of props and scenic elements to help the story unfold. No one who has seen previous Keegan musicals, such as HAIR, CABARET, or AMERICAN IDIOT could be surprised by the quality of this rendering of PARADE; I fully expect this production to be recognized multiple times when the next round of Helen Hayes Awards comes around.

August Strindberg Repertory Theatre, under the leadership of Robert Greer, is committed to production of his plays in new translations and interpretations that illuminate the plays of Sweden's national playwright, whose work remains as relevant today as when they were written.  The company continues its explorations November 12 to December 3 at Gene Frankel Theatre, 24 Bond Street, presenting a double-bill of two-character plays -- 'Pariah' and 'The Stronger' -- in alternating rep with with Strindberg's Arabian Nights play, 'Abu Casem's Slippers.'

The Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra welcomes celebrated pianist Garrick Ohlsson to begin this season, Music Director Larry Rachleff's last leading the Orchestra. Ohlsson will play Beethoven's Piano Concerto No.5, Emperor, with the Orchestra. The program also features Smetana's The Bartered Bride Overture and Lutoslawski's Concerto for Orchestra. The TACO Classical concert isSaturday, September 17 at 8:00pm, with the AMICA Rush Hour concert on Friday, September 16 at 6:30pm.

To coincide with the launch of Her Majesty's Theatre Building Fund, The Performing Arts Collection and Adelaide Festival Centre have meticulously looked through 100 years of history to create The Maj 100 - an exhibition 100 years in the making. One significant image, (be it a photograph, poster or event) from each of the years Her Majesty's Theatre has been in operation has been selected to bring this breathtaking exhibition to life. Play on Words Theatre & Fairbank Productions have announced The return of Tom Crean ?'Antarctic Explorer' to Roscommon Arts Centre for one performance only Thursday 3rd November 2011.

This morning it was announced that the Broadway League and Actors' Equity reached a tentative agreement in the contract negotiations which have been going on since the night June 30th, 2008 when the current contract expired. Both parties reached an agreement and released a joint statement this morning July 2nd.

Artistic Director Michael Grandage has announced that the new season at London's Donmar Warehouse will include the Jason Robert Brown/Alfred Urhy musical 'Parade'. This will be the long overdue West End premiere of one of the most controversial and powerful pieces of musical theatre to have graced a Broadway stage during the 1990s.
