Two-time Tony Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Bobby Cannavale will star as Nick Arnstein opposite Lauren Ambrose, who will star as Fanny Brice, in the first Broadway revival of FUNNY GIRL since the 1964 original production. FUNNY GIRL, which features music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Bob Merrill and book by Isobel Lennart, will be directed by Tony Award-winner Bartlett Sher.

The Museum of Modern Art recognizes the achievements of Roman Polanski with a complete retrospective of the filmmaker's works, September 7-30, 2011, in The Roy and Niuta Titus Theaters. Robert Lindsay and Joanna Lumley will lead the cast in Trevor Nunn's production of James Goldman's The Lion in Winter. The Lion in Winter will run from 4 November - 28 January, with press night on 15 November 2011. The Lion in Winter is produced by the Theatre Royal Haymarket Company. The CAPA Summer Movie Series, the longest-running classic film series in America, celebrates its 41st anniversary in 2011 with an impressive assembly of classics, cult favorites, and much beloved films.

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment is bringing more classics to DVD in May through the unique 'manufacturing on demand' ('MOD'). According to a report by Variety, stage and screen star Hal Holbrook will be honored with the 2011 Actors Fund's Julie Harris Lifetime Achievement Award. Holbrook will receive the award at the Los Angeles Tony Awards Party in Los Angeles. The event will take place on June 12 at the Skirball Cultural Center.
