Earlier this year, the music of Disney's mega-hit film FROZEN was celebrated with live performances at Los Angeles' Vibrato Grill Jazz club. Kristen Bell (voice of Anna), Idina Menzel (voice of Elsa), Josh Gad (voice of Olaf) and Santino Fontana (voice of Hans) took the stage, accompanied by a live orchestra conducted by David Metzger, to perform songs from the Oscar®-nominated, Golden Globe®-winning film, including the Oscar-nominated 'Let It Go.' With tonight's 'Best Original Song' Oscar win for 'Let It Go' from Disney's FROZEN, Robert Lopez, who wrote the music and lyrics for the song with his wife Kristen Anderson-Lopez, has become the twelfth member of the exclusive EGOT club. FROZEN also took home the award for 'Best Animated Feature Film' earlier this evening.

'Let It Go' from Disney's FROZEN was the recipient of the 86th Annual Academy Award for 'Original Song,' with music and lyrics by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez. The film also won the Oscar for 'Best Animated Feature Film' earlier this evening. The major win for the song, performed by Idina Menzel in the film, also makes Robert Lopez the twelfth member of the exclusive 'EGOT' club.

This February, Principal Conductor Yuri Temirkanov leads the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra in two performances in Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage. On Thursday, February 13 at 8:00 p.m., Mr. Temirkanov leads the orchestra, Russia's oldest symphonic ensemble, in a unique concert featuring Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 in B-flat Minor, Op. 23, with lauded Russian pianist Denis Kozhukhin as soloist. In addition, the program includes excerpts from Rimsky-Korsakov's nationalistic 1907 opera, The Legend of the Invisible City of Kitezh, and Giya Kancheli's 2000 work …al Niente. On Saturday, February 15 at 8:00 p.m., the orchestra and Mr. Temirkanov return, performing Prokofiev's folk music-inspired Violin Concerto No. 2 in G Minor, Op. 63, featuring acclaimed violinist Julia Fischer. On the second half of the concert, the orchestra plays Rachmaninoff's Symphony No. 2 in E Minor, Op. 27.
