Groucho is back for a third consecutive summer engagement in ACT Theatre's Bullitt Cabaret. Award-winning actor Frank Ferrante returns to one of his favorite cities worldwide to perform his hilarious one-man tribute to the comedic legend of Groucho Marx. Directed by Dreya Weber Groucho Returns runs for three weeks in a show that is never the same twice. Master of improvisation Frank Ferrante riffs off a different audience each night in classic Groucho Marx style.

The OBIE Award-winning Theater:Village festival, which is presented by Axis Theatre, Cherry Lane Theatre, New Ohio Theatre, and Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, returns for its second year, September 4 - October 5. Following last year's The Hill Town Plays, which presented five works by the playwright Lucy Thurber, this year's festival, titled E Pluribus, will feature four new plays celebrating the diversity of America.

Blue State Productions Seeks Directors for 10th Anniversary Season; Application Deadline 7/31

Blue State Productions, in residence at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Clifton NJ, is seeking directors for its 2015 season. Depending on director submissions, Blue State is planning the following schedule: March, Neil Simon's female version of The Odd Couple. May brings a 10th anniversary celebration of select scenes and one acts from the past ten years as we gear up to clebrate our 10th anniversary. October will bring the musical cult favorite Rocky Horror Picture Show and then in December an original play of the nativity as told through the eyes of Joseph.

Mint Theater to Stage Revival of George Kelly's THE FATAL WEAKNESS, 8/19-10/12

Mint Theater's next production will be The Fatal Weakness by George Kelly. Jesse Marchese directs a cast that features Cliff Bemis, Cynthia Darlow, Kristin Griffith, Sean Patrick Hopkins, Patricia Kilgarriff, and Victoria Mack. The Fatal Weakness will have scenic design Vicki R. Davis, costume design by Andrea Varga, lighting design by Christian DeAngelis, original music & sound design by Jane Shaw, and properties design by Joshua Yocom. Performances will begin Tuesday August 19th and continue through October 12th. Opening Night is set for Monday September 15th (7pm) at Mint's home (311 West 43rd Street, just west of 8th Avenue).

New York City Center's 2015 Encores! Season to Feature PAINT YOUR WAGON, ZORBA!, and LADY, BE GOOD

According to The New York Times, City Center has set the 2015 Encores! 2015, which will open with George and Ira Gershwin's first complete musical, LADY, BE GOOD,. Performances are slated to begin on Feb. 4, and run through Feb. 8.
