A little bit of King Hedley's ambition might have rubbed off on television actress turned theatrical producer Sophina Brown. Better known as Nikki Betancourt from CBS's hit NUMB3RS, Brown has delved into the Los Angeles 99-seat theatre scene with the goal of producing all ten of August Wilson's plays in the Century Cycle. First up -- KING HEDLEY II, which opened last Thursday at the Matrix Theatre in West Hollywood.

North Bay Company (NBSC), kicks off its 2016-17 season with Frederick Knott's murder mystery masterpiece, Dial 'M' for Murder. The production will be performed in the company's intimate and audience-friendly home in the East Auditorium at LBC, running Oct 21-Nov 6, 2016. John Faulkner directs the production, Dial 'M' for Murder and is presented through special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. Cast includes: Michael Walraven, Jesse Bell, Tom McIntyre, Paul Menconi, and Jeffrey Schmidt.

The Museum will present 39 features. All of the films will be shown in 35mm-many in stunning restorations-except for Red Line 7000, which will be shown in 16mm.
