Back in full swing, after Covid interruptions, is the Glendale Brand Library and Associates’ annual spring dance series, always curated with love and care by Jamie Nichols, and organized by Art Librarian Erin Herzog on the grounds and at the beautiful Glendale Brand Library.
On an absolutely perfect spring day the first in a series of three dance presentations was performed by the formidable Nickerson–Rossi dance company. The performance was Saturday, May 7, 2022, with a workshop with the Company on Sunday, May 8, 2022. These events are free and open to the public, made possible by the Brand Associates.

Strat and Raven have taken over New York City and for crying out loud, audiences couldn't be more thrilled about it. Andrew Polec and Christina Bennington, the stars of Bat Out of Hell, reprise the roles they originated in London and Toronto for Bat Out of Hell off-Broadway. The new musical plays now through September 8 at New York City Center.

Like a bat out of hell, Bat Out of Hell is flying to New York City Center, where the Jim Steinman musical officially it begins its run tomorrow, August 1, 2019. The musical is set to open on August 8, and will play a six-week engagement through September 8, 2019.

Bat Out of Hell's German production had a lot to live up to, after the upcoming New York production plastered its billboards all over Times Square earlier this week. To generate the same level of hype, the cast took to the local shopping mall at Centro Oberhausen to create a flash mob!
