Breaking: JAGGED LITTLE PILL Will Come To Broadway This Fall

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that the Diane Paulus directed musical, Jagged Little Pill, will come to Broadway this fall following an out of town tryout at Cambridge's American Repertory Theatre and an additional lab in NYC this fall.

Singer, songwriter, and Grammy-nominated producer Shooter Jennings surprised fans by appearing in season 2 of Marvel's The Punisher on Netflix. Jennings performs his songs “The Outsider”, “Outlaw You”, “The Other Life”, and “The Real Me” throughout the season's debut episode, which is available to stream now exclusively on Netflix. SCHOOL GIRLS; OR, THE AFRICAN MEAN GIRLS PLAY Makes Regional Premiere

Next up in Kansas City Repertory Theatre's 2018/2019 season is the multiple award-winning Off-Broadway hit SCHOOL GIRLS; OR, THE AFRICAN MEAN GIRLS PLAY, written by Jocelyn Bioh and directed by KCRep's Artistic Associate/Resident Director, Chip Miller. Bioh's hilarious reimagining of Tina Fey's Mean Girls story is a once joyful and heartbreaking, bitingly funny, and poignant. SCHOOL GIRLS, running February 22 through March 17, 2019, at Copaken Stage, is a loving exploration of the real lives of young African women trying to negotiate the confusion around Western ideas of beauty.

Austin Lucas Announces European and Co-Headlining Tour Dates

Rust Belt troubadour AUSTIN LUCAS, who released his lauded album Immortal Americans in August 2018, is an official showcase artist at AmericanaFest UK 2019. The festival begins on Janaury 29, after which Lucas will embark on a string of European shows in Italy, Austria, and Switzerland. On March 5, in Cincinnati, he will begin a co-headlining six-show tour with Vandoliers, and on April 13, will perform at the Annual Lucero Family Block Party in at Minglewood Hall in Memphis, Tennessee, sharing stages with Blackberry Smoke, Will Hoge, and of course, Lucero. Melbourne Opera Presents Wagner's THE FLYING DUTCHMAN

Nellie McKay Makes Kennedy Center Debut

The 2018-2019 Renee Fleming VOICES series continues with singer-songwriter Nellie McKay on Friday, February 8, 2019, at 7:30 p.m. in the Terrace Theater. McKay's one-night-only solo set will include songs from her recent Sister Orchid, as well as others in her catalog. Tickets for this performance are $25-$35.
