A magical new musical opens the Pacific Conservatory Theatre's 51st Season - the world premiere production of Renegade Animation's Christmas Is Here Again. This frolicsome adventure for the entire family is a new stage musical by Brad Carroll and Jeremy Mann. It's based on the film of the same name written and directed by Robert Zappia. Christmas is Here Again plays in the Marian Theatre November 13 - December 24, 2014.

A MOON FOR THE MISBEGOTTEN (MOON), by Pulitzer Prize winner and Nobel Laureate Eugene O'Neill, continues Rubicon Theatre Company's 16th Season helmed by Artistic Associate Jenny Sullivan with company member Joseph Fuqua in the role of James Tyrone. (The production marks the 23rd collaboration for Sullivan and Fuqua, who have worked together at Rubicon on productions including Hamlet, You Can't Take It With You and Old Wicked Songs.) Other cast members are Rebekah Tripp, Granville Van Dusen, Scott Roberts and Matthew Grondin.

The Theatre School at DePaul University proudly presents LIZZIE BRIGHT AND THE BUCKMINSTER BOY, based on the book by Gary D. Schmidt, adapted by Cheryl L. West, and directed by John Jenkins, as the second piece in the 2012-2013 Chicago Playworks for Families and Young Audiences Series. This production opens today, January 19, and runs through Saturday, March 2, 2013, at DePaul's historic Merle Reskin Theatre.

The Rose Theatre Kingston has announced its Christmas production and two further new Rose Theatre Productions in 2013. Covering the Christmas period, Cinderella The Midnight Princess, tells the magical classic Cinderella story with humour and the sublime music of Mozart. In-house productions include Noel Coward's The Vortex and Richard Bean's black comedy Smack Family Robinson, directed by the much-loved Richard Wilson. Next year also sees the return of Propeller with The Taming of the Shrew and Twelfth Night, and Northern Broadsides presents the groundbreaking Rutherford & Son, directed by Sir Jonathan Miller.

The Old Globe's 2012-13 Season will feature the World Premieres of two new musicals: Allegiance - A New American Musical by Jay Kuo and Lorenzo Thione and A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder by Robert L. Freedman and Steven Lutvak. The season also includes George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion in celebration of the classic play's 100th anniversary and the World Premiere of a new adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House by Anne-Charlotte Hanes Harvey and Kirsten Brandt. Two recent Broadway hits will make their San Diego debuts at the Globe: David Lindsay-Abaire's Good People and Jon Robin Baitz's Other Desert Cities. Rounding out the season are the West Coast Premiere of Bekah Brunstetter's Be a Good Little Widow and the Southern California Premiere of Tarell Alvin McCraney's The Brothers Size.

Today, the UN Foundation's Nothing But Nets-a global, grassroots campaign to fight malaria in Africa-announced that Disney's The Lion King and the Nederlander Organization are joining the campaign as its newest partners in the movement to end malaria. The organizations will work together to raise awareness among millions of Broadway fans about how they can help stop malaria, a disease spread by a single mosquito bite that kills a child every 45 seconds in Africa.
