Poway OnStage is elated to participate as a featured stop in the Upright & Grand Piano Festival presented by The San Diego Symphony on January 15th, 2016 at the Poway Center for the Performing Arts (15498 Espola Rd Poway, California). The evening will include a presentation of Liszt's Black Gondola, Shostakovich's Symphony No. 1, and Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5: Emperor, led by conductor Cristian Macelaru. The performance will feature renowned and award-winning pianist Jeremy Denk.

The Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), presented by AT&T, which will host its 15th edition April 13-24, 2016 in New York City, today announced a new platform, Tribeca Talks: Storytellers, a series of in-depth conversations with leading creators taking place at the Tribeca Festival Hub and other venues.

Internationally acclaimed actor Matthew Perry (Friends, The Odd Couple) leads the cast in the World Premiere of his playwriting debut, The End of Longing, at the Playhouse Theatre, London, from 2 February - 14 May 2016. The Young Vic's critically-acclaimed production of Arthur Miller's A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE, directed by Ivo van Hove, opens tonight at the Lyceum Theatre (149 West 45th Street). It will play an 18-week limited engagement through Sunday, February 21, 2016.

Casting is announced today for Around the World in 80 Days, which will run at the St. James Theatre from 26 November 2015 to 17 January 2016, with press night on 3 December 2015. Leading the cast in the role of Phileas Fogg will be Robert Portal, who, in challenges reminiscent of Fogg's own quest, has rowed 3000 miles across the Atlantic in The Talisker Whisky Challenge and partaken in the Marathon des Sables, running over 150 miles of the Sahara Desert in six days, raising money for charity in both instances.

THE LAST PANTHERS, a six-part crime series, will air in the spring of 2016 on SundanceTV in the U.S. Commissioned by Sky Atlantic and CANAL+, SundanceTV has come on board as a co-producer of the series.

ARROW returns on Wednesday on The CW and while last season may have ended on a happy note with Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) litterally driving off into the sunset, you can pretty much bet that their domestic bliss will be short-lived.
