A great, big Broadway season is on its way, with fourteen productions already slated to open in the next few months. With several weeks until the craziness begins, there is still plenty of time to catch up on what's been going on at Broadway's already occupied theaters . The Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, New York Live Arts' Resident Dance Company, announced today the touring programs and productions for the 2014-2015 Season. The Company will perform and conduct residencies in more than 11 cities in eight states over the next 12 months, making their debut at a number of venues across the U.S. Highlights of the 2014-2015 Season include the New York City premiere of Story/Time (35, 36, 37 & 38) November 4 - 8 and 11 - 15 on the Company's home stage at the New York Live Arts theater; the world premiere of Analogy (working title) in June 2015 at Montclair State University; the Company debut at Dancers' Workshop in Jackson Hole, Wyoming; and more. Touring programs for the 2014-2015 season include Analogy (working title), the Company's newest work; Story/Time; Play and Play: An Evening of Movement and Music; Body Against Body; and A Rite.

The roots of Austro-German Romanticism will be explored at the 2014 annual Bard SummerScape festival, which once again offers a sensational summer of music, opera, theater, dance, film, and cabaret, keyed to the theme of the 25th anniversary season of the world-renowned Bard Music Festival, Schubert and His World.

The Toyota Summer Concert Series at the Pacific Amphitheatre at the 2014 OC Fair will feature 23 nights of concerts performed by world renowned artists and musicians.

Perhaps the most controversial opera of the 20th century makes its Southern California debut when Long Beach Opera (LBO) stages John Adams' The Death of Klinghoffer on March 16 and March 22 at the Terrace Theater in downtown Long Beach. This powerful and unsettling work chronicles the 1985 hijacking of the Mediterranean cruise ship Achille Lauro by Palestinian terrorists and the murder of disabled Jewish-American passenger, Leon Klinghoffer. LBO's production is a partner presentation of the Los Angeles Philharmonic's 'Minimalist Jukebox' Festival.

Gustavo Dudamel will return to the New York Philharmonic to conduct Vivier's Orion and Bruckner's Symphony No. 9, Thursday, March 27, 2014, at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, March 28 at 8:00 p.m.; and Saturday March 29 at 8:00 p.m. The program will be presented without intermission to support the connection between the two works.
