Ronald K. Brown and Evidence, A Dance Company return for its annual New York season at the Joyce Theater, June 3-8, 2014. The exciting week-long run includes 2 programs. Program A features the world premiere of The Subtle One danced to a suite by Jason Moran, jazz pianist, composer and Kennedy Center's Artistic Director for Jazz. Program B offers classic repertory including a revival of Ebony Magazine to a Village.

Following its hugely successful run in 2013 at London's Regent's Park Open Air Theatre, To Kill a Mockingbird will embark on a UK tour in September 2014. Casting will be announced in due course.

LA Opera is collaborating with Classical KUSC to produce the seventh consecutive season of LA Opera on Air, a weekly broadcast series of LA Opera performances recorded live at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. Beginning with Bizet's Carmen at 10am on Saturday, May 17, 2014, the weekly series will be hosted by KUSC's Duff Murphy and will feature six operas from LA Opera's 2013/14 season. The series will be broadcast locally on Classical KUSC 91.5FM, its repeater stations (see below) and also streamed live online at www.KUSC.org.

Alley Theatre Artistic Director Gregory Boyd announces the cast and creative team for recent Tony Award-winning comedy Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike. Appearing in titles roles are Resident Actor Jeffrey Bean as Vanya, Sharon Lockwood returning to the Alley as Sonia, Alley Artist Josie de Guzman returning as Masha, and Resident Actor Jay Sullivan as Spike. Roundabout Theatre Company has announced that PS Classics will record the cast album of VIOLET on April 7, 2014. This Original Broadway Cast Recording, a two-disc set, will be released on June 3. The production is currently playing at the American Airlines Theatre through August 10, 2014.
