Pan Asian Repertory Theatre, now in its 38th Season, has announced the cast for the East Coast premiere of FILM CHINOIS, an atmospheric noir mystery set in 1940s China written by Singaporean playwright Damon Chua and directed by Kaipo Schwab. The Hollywood Reporter writes that AMC has picked up John le Carre's THE NIGHT MANAGER, starring Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie. The project will likely air as a six- or eight-part miniseries in the U.S.; the spy drama is being presented via BBC in the U.K.
