Citi announced that it will present a performance by iconic comedian and entertainer Jerry Seinfeld on Thursday, September 26 at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall, Time Warner Center in New York City. Hallmark Channel announces Bruce Boxleitner ('TRON,' 'Babylon 5,' 'Scarecrow and Mrs. King') has been cast as a series regular in Hallmark Channel's first-ever primetime series, 'Debbie Macomber's Cedar Cove.' The two-hour drama is set to premiere Saturday, July 20 (8 p.m. ET/PT, 7C), with Boxleitner joining the cast regularly as Bob Beldon, owner of the local Cedar Cove Inn, Thyme and Tide.

Deadline reports that Stanley Tucci and Anne Heche have joined the cast of the action thriller HEAT, based on the novel by William Goldman. The actors will join Jason Statham, Cedric the Entertainer, Hope Davis and Milo Ventimiglia, Sophia Vergara, Michael Angarano, and Dominik Garcia-Lorido.

The 2013 Boston Pops season, May 8-June 15, under the direction of Keith Lockhart, will present a season-long tribute to the world of movie music, along with programs featuring a wide variety of American musical styles, including jazz, bluegrass, country, gospel, pop, classic standards from the 50s and 60s, and show-stopping songs of Broadway and the American Songbook. The festival will feature staged readings of four new plays by both established and emerging playwrights, a new play with music in development starring Tony and Barrymore Award winner Forrest McClendon as African American vaudeville legend Bert Williams, and an evening of short plays, FuturePhilly@Play, by seven emerging playwrights. Each playwright will be in-residence at PTC for their reading, and every reading will conclude with a reception where audiences and artists can meet. All events are free with curtain time at 7:30 PM. A highlight of PTC@Play will be the February 18th announcement of the winner of the Terrence McNally New Play Award, a $10,000 cash prize given annually to recognize a new play that celebrates the transformative power of art.
