Brilliant local musician and performer Jack Forbes Wilson will reprise his triumphant portrayal of Liberace, the man who defined four decades of music and pop culture, after an acclaimed world premiere production which ran during The Rep's 2010/11 Season. This loving tribute to Liberace is written and directed by Rep Associate Artistic Director Brent Hazelton, with original music direction and composition by Jack Forbes Wilson. Liberace! runs in The Rep's Stackner Cabaret from November 7, 2014 - January 11, 2015 and opens Sunday, November 9.

Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein II's Show Boat opens San Francisco Opera's Summer Season on June 1 with nine subsequent performances through July 2, 2014. Nevada Ballet Theatre (NBT) announced today that it will honor dancer, choreographer, actress, producer, director and author Debbie Allen as Woman of the Year for the 31st Annual Black & White Ball. The recipient of numerous awards, including a Tony Award, Golden Globe and three Emmy Awards among others, Allen's many contributions to the performing arts and entertainment industry will be celebrated on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at ARIA Resort & Casino, CityCenter.

It was announced last Saturday evening, from the stage of the Ryman Auditorium, that Ricky Skaggs will be the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum's 2013 Artist-in-Residence. Skaggs will present two intimate evening performances on November 18 and 19, at 7:00 p.m. The concerts will be the museum's first public programs in the new CMA Theater.
