Semyon Bychkov will return to the New York Philharmonic to conduct works composed or inspired by Brahms: Brahms's Double Concerto for Violin and Cello, with violinist Lisa Batiashvili and cellist Gautier Capuc?on; Detlev Glanert's Brahms-Fantasie; and Brahms's Symphony No. 1.

Westport Country Playhouse will commemorate the centennial year of playwright Arthur Miller (1915-2005) with one of his last works, BROKEN GLASS, helmed by Playhouse artistic director Mark Lamos, playing October 6 - 24. Set in 1938 Brooklyn at the time of Nazi Germany's Kristallnacht (The Night of Broken Glass), the powerful drama incites a dangerous game of concealment, suspicion, and lies.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Arthur Miller's THE CRUCIBLE will return to Broadway at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street) this spring. Bill Camp (as Reverend John Hale), Jim Norton (as Giles Corey), Tavi Gevinson (as Mary Warren), and Jason Butler Harner (as Reverend Samuel Parris) are among those who will join previously announced stars Ben Whishaw (as John Proctor), Sophie Okonedo (as Elizabeth Proctor), Saoirse Ronan (as Abigail Williams), and Ciaran Hinds (as Deputy-Governor Danforth).

Two of the most original theatre artists in America, the long-form improvisers TJ & Dave, return to The Town Hall, 123 West 43rd Street, for a special one-night-only engagement of "TJ & Dave" on Saturday October 3 at 8pm.  This unique theatrical event, produced by The Barrow Street Theatre, will incorporate the musical talents of Chicago's popular alternative country-rocker Robbie Fulks.  Tickets, which range from $24 to $31.50, are now on sale through Ticketmaster. Casting is set for Signature Theatre's world premiere of A.R. Gurney's new play Love & Money, directed by Mark Lamos. The production runs tonight, August 15, to September 27, 2015 with an August 24, 2015 opening night in The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). The show is a co-production with Westport Country Playhouse.

In this taut 2013 theatrical adaptation of Pumla Gobodo-Madikizela's award winning-book, the apartheid regime's most notorious assassin and head of its death squad, Eugene de Kock (played by Matthew Marsh), sits opposite psychologist Pumla Gobodo-Madikizela (played Noma Dumezweni) in Pretoria Central Prison in 1997. Gobodo-Madikizela is a member of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission determined to understand his actions. She questions de Kock, who is sentenced to two life terms plus 212 years for crimes against humanity, murder, conspiracy to murder, attempted murder, assault, kidnapping, illegal possession of firearms, and fraud.

Gloucester Stage kicks off the 36th season of producing professional theatre on Cape Ann with Richard Nelson's Sweet and Sad opening on May 28 and running through June 20 at 267 East Main Street, Gloucester, MA.

A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, presents the final weeks of its 2015 Spring repertory season with The Threepenny Opera, Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill's groundbreaking theatrical work in Michael Feingold's translation (which has become the most popular production in the history of A Noise Within), now playing through May 27, the Los Angeles Times Critic's Choice Figaro by Charles Morey, freely adapted from Le Mariage de Figaro by Beaumarchais in its West Coast premiere now through May 10, and the Ovation-Recommended Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare, in its final extension through May 24.

Richard Greenberg's Pulitzer Prize-nominated play, Three Days of Rain, opens on Portland Center Stage's U.S. Bank Main Stage on May 22, with preview performances beginning May 17, 2015.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater and piece by piece productions have announced that Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, America, Kuwait, written and directed by Daniel Talbott, will begin performances Thursday, May 21 at 7pm at The Gym at Judson, 243 Thompson Street. The opening night is set for Tuesday, June 9 at 7pm. The production is scheduled to run through Saturday, June 27.

The theatrical result of a unique international partnership between New York's Covenant House International and The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London will be showcased this month at the star-studded Crossing Bridges Play Festival in Manhattan. The event, which is being held at the HELEN MILLS Event Space and Theatre on Sunday 22 March 2015, has also been made possible thanks to a line-up of Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winners and nominees, all of whom have generously donated their time and talents to the project.
