Eminent maestro Vladimir Spivakov and the acclaimed Moscow Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra, who recently sold out a concert at the Barbican Center in London, return to Carnegie Hall onWednesday, June 7 at 8 PM as a part of their seven-city North American tour.

Choreographer Trisha Brown has died on March 18th in San Antonio, Texas, after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her son, Adam Brown, his wife Erin, her four grandchildren – and by her brother Gordon Brown and sister Louisa Brown. Trisha Brown's husband, artist Burt Barr, died on November 7, 2016. 

This April, You'll Not Feel the Drowning - written by Marissa Skudlarek and directed by Gabriel A. Ross - is the first play to be workshopped by Custom Made Theatre Company as part of their new play development program, Undiscovered Works, a project in collaboration with EXIT Theatre with the goal of creating more direct avenues from page to stage.

He has an explosive, virile style that invokes the great flamencotradition - while his choreographies seem to pull flamenco forward, into the future. Maya will present his powerful original work, Latente: A Flamenco Journey, in its New York debut at the Schimmel Center at Pace University on February 17, 2017 at 7:30pm.

The Public Theater has announced the exciting international line-up for the 13th annual UNDER THE RADAR FESTIVAL, running January 4-15, 2017.

The American Music Awards, the world's biggest fan-voted award show, announced today the “2016 American Music Awards” nominees with recording artists Joe Jonas and Rachel Platten revealing six categories of nominees live on ABC's “Good Morning America.” Immediately following the broadcast, five additional categories were announced in real time exclusively via Snapchat (TheAMAs).  ABC News then livestreamed the remaining 17 categories and included a recap of all nominees in the 11 previously announced categories.  (See the full list of nominees below).  The “2016 American Music Awards” will broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 20 at 8:00pm ET on ABC.

San Francisco Opera General Director Matthew Shilvock today announced the casting and schedule for the Company's summer 2018 presentations of Richard Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen (The Ring of the Nibelung). The four-opera cycle of Das Rheingold,Die Walkure, Siegfried and Gotterdammerung-widely considered the greatest and most ambitious work ever conceived for the lyric stage-will be presented in three complete cycles from June 12 through July 1, 2018.
