The play was set to begin previews at the Vaudeville Theatre on September 11. But recently, The Stage reported that this date has been postponed due to 'scheduling issues.' Producers Creative Management and Productions, James Quaife Productions, and Celia Atkin released a statement saying 'Our production of Rabbit Hole will be postponed from the planned September opening at the Vaudeville Theatre as due to a late shift in schedules, it is unable to go ahead at this time.'

It's awards season at Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre. The '2014 Kelsey Theatre Awards,' a Tony Awards-inspired evening that celebrates the theatrical successes of the past year, takes place Saturday, Aug. 16 at 8 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on Mercer County Community College's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.

Holler If Ya Hear Me, written by Todd Kreidler and directed by Kenny Leon, plays its final Broadway performance today after 30 performances. The Tupac inspired musical originally opened on June 19 at the Palace Theatre.

As of that date, the musical will have played 38 regular performances and 17 preview performances. HOLLER IF YA HEAR ME began previews June 2 and opened June 19.

California Musical Theatre released casting for the remaining shows in the 64th Music Circus season, a roster of actors including Broadway veterans, Tony nominees and audience favorites from previous Music Circus seasons, as well as actors with Sacramento-area ties. The five-show season at the Wells Fargo Pavilion includes the Music Circus premiere of the beloved Disney classic Mary Poppins, which runs through July 13, as well as other Tony Award-winning shows including Rodgers and Hammerstein's lush South Pacific, Lerner and Loewe's mystical Brigadoon, Jerry Herman and Harvey Fierstein's hilarious La Cage aux Folles, and the singular sensation A Chorus Line, which ended its week-long run on June 29. Music Circus casting for the season is determined after auditions are held in New York City, Los Angeles and Sacramento.

Broadway's Holler If Ya Hear Me opened to mixed reviews last month, but lead producer Eric L. Gold won't let that affect the show's open-ended run at the Palace Theatre. He recently told Variety that he hopes to raise another $5 million to keep the new musical open until ticket sales improve. When asked how long the show will remain, Gold told Variety: 'It's week to week right now. It can't tell you if it'll be two weeks or two months. It's an expensive game, and I'm the guy carrying the load financially. I made a rookie mistake by underestimating how much capital was necessary, but I'm tenacious.'
