Three-time Tony Award-winning scenic designer ROBIN WAGNER and esteemed costume designer LEWIS BROWN are among the 2011 TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards recipients. The awards will be presented at a ceremony on Friday, April 8 at 6:30pm at the Hudson Theatre (145 West 44th Street). Mr. Brown was selected to receive the 2011 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award for costume design, and Tony Award-winning scenic designer Robin Wagner will receive the Robert L.B. Tobin Award for Sustained Excellence in Theatrical Design. Sadly, Mr. Brown passed away in January of 2011. His award will be accepted by his long-time colleague and friend, Albert Wolsky, who was the recipient of the 2010 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award

A day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of orchestra seats will be held daily for WICKED, which will be performing from July 14- August 8 at the Marcus Center. Each day, 2½ hours prior to show time people who present themselves at the Marcus Center Box Office will have their names placed in a lottery drum and then thirty minutes later, names will be drawn for a limited number of orchestra seats at $25 each, cash only.

One of Orange County's newest theater companies, 3D Theatricals, will present HELLO, DOLLY! from July 9 through August 1 at the O.C. Pavilion Theatre in the Arts District of downtown Santa Ana. The hit stage and screen musical marks 3D Theatrical's fourth production for 2010. Kritzerland who just re-released the Original Cast Album of PROMISES, PROMISES as a new double-CD featuring both the original LP mix and a newly remixed pitch-corrected version are now presenting the Original London Cast Recording of Promises, Promises, starring Anthony Roberts, Betty Buckley, and Jack Kruschen (reprising the role he created in the film on which Promises is based - The Apartment - for which Kruschen received an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor). The London production opened in 1969 and ran a very healthy 560 performances and was loved by both audiences and critics, just as the Broadway production was.
