Carriageworks today unveiled a major new commission by renowned German artist Katharina Grosse of a site-specific installation representing the third in the Schwartz Carriageworks series of major international projects. Dundalk Community Theatre kicks off its 2016/2017 season with a musical tribute Always….Patsy Cline from October 28th - November 6th.  The season is then followed by "I Hate Hamlet" and "Shrek:  The Musical". On view through 22 October, the photographs and sculptures in the exhibition probe the generational impact of displacement and what Leonard has described as 'statelessness as both an individual experience and a shared social condition.

Just announced, the official launch night of the month-long WOMEN AND WAR festival will feature a one-off performance of SEVEN, a documentary play about seven ordinary women who became extraordinary activists, starring Rula Lenska, Miriam Margolyes and Josie Lawrence.

Beginning this Saturday, the Elite Theatre Company's South Stage will be presenting Zero Hour, a one-man play about legendary actor Zero Mostel. The project is near and dear to the heart of actor John Medeiros, who has tried to get it produced for almost 5 years. Medeiros has performed in two roles made famous by Mostel, Pseudolus (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum) and Tevye (Fiddler on the Roof). He won the Four Star Alliance Award in 2013 for Outstanding Lead Actor for his portrayal of Tevye.

Now, over 40 years later, Yoko Ono: One Woman Show, 1960-1971 surveys the decisive decade that led up to that unauthorized exhibition at MoMA, bringing together approximately 125 of her early objects, works on paper, installations, performances, audio recordings, and films, alongside rarely seen archival materials. On view from May 17 to September 7, 2015, this is the first exhibition at MoMA dedicated exclusively to the artist's work.
