Written from his own experience, Jonathan Lewis's Our Boys is a wonderfully funny yet searingly honest account of the tribulations, tedium and terror that young soldiers face when recovering from injuries incurred in the line of duty. It opens for a limited 12-week season at the Duchess Theatre on Wednesday 3 October, with previews from tonight, Wednesday 26 September. The cast features Arthur Darvill (Rory in Doctor Who) and Laurence Fox (James in Lewis).

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center and Michael Bush jointly announced today that, after eight years, Mr. Bush is moving on from his position as the artistic director of the O'Neill's Cabaret & Performance Conference due to increased professional obligations directing in New York and regionally. These obligations include the further development of the new musicals STORMY WEATHER, THE PIPER, and his recently acclaimed NYMF production of HIMSELF AND NORA. He will also be a founding partner in a new company, Tritone Productions, which is dedicated to the development of new work.

Easton's State Theatre has announced its 2012-13 season- on sale to State Theatre Members Wed, August 1 (Box Office window at 453 Northampton Street opens at 6 AM; Online Ticketing and Phone lines open at Noon). According to The Day, Broadway star Terrence Mann has returned to the University of Connecticut's Connecticut Repertory Theater to participate in its Nutmeg Summer Series. He ends his run as the lead in CRT's Man of La Mancha today, June 16, and is set to direct the theatre's The Pirates of Penzance in July.
