On May 4, 2016 five legendary blues performers, two individuals who were instrumental in the creation of blues music, five single blues recordings, one blues album and an important piece of blues literature will be inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame.

The Toronto theatre community came together on Tuesday to express outrage on social media over the lack of diversity on the announced creative teams for productions in Canadian Stage's 2016-2017 season.

This June, Dances for a Small Stage, Vancouver's vivacious dance series, will travel to Ottawa's National Arts Centre to present an audacious, politically charged program of new music and dance creations, as part of the 2015 Magnetic North Theatre Festival (MNTF).
