Michael McKean, star of the upcoming Broadway play Superior Donuts, will host Broadway on Broadway 2009 (www.broadwayonbroadway.com) on Sunday, September 13th at 11:30 a.m., it was announced today by The Broadway League and The Times Square Alliance.

The Broadway League and The Times Square Alliance announced today that the 18th Annual Broadway on Broadway® presented by Continental Airlines will be held on Sunday, September 13th at 11:30am in Times Square (entrance on 43rd Street and Broadway). The annual free outdoor concert brings together stars and performances from current and upcoming Broadway productions to celebrate the beginning of the Broadway season.

The Encores! Summer Stars production of The Wiz will hold two free post-matinee talkbacks and audience Q&A sessions with Encores! Artistic Director Jack Viertel and members of the company on Wednesday, June 24 and Wednesday, July 1 at New York City Center, 131 W. 55th Street (between 6th and 7th Avenue).
