ZACH Theatre-Austin's Theatre and Texas' longest running theatre, presents the next production of the 2013-14 Family Series, THE CAT IN THE HAT. ZACH Theatre brings the classic children's book THE CAT IN THE HAT to life in a wild ride of physical comedy, playing tonight, February 21 through May 3, 2014, on the intimate Kleberg Stage.

Halfway thru its 81st season, the Bergen County Players (BCP) continues its 'From Page to Stage' season theme with its' presentation of Around The World In 80 Days. Under the direction of Ray Yucis, Around The World In 80 Days will be performed at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell from February 15th through March 8th.

THE HERO Comes to the Metropolitan Playhouse, 3/1-30

The 'invaluable' Metropolitan Playhouse--2011 Obie Award winner--revives The Hero, by Gilbert Emery. Directed by Artistic Director Alex Roe at Metropolitan Playhouse: 220 E 4th Street. Previews begin March 1, with an opening slated for March 8. The show runs through March 30, 2014.

Under the direction of Ray Yucis, Around The World In 80 Days will be performed at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell from February 15th through March 8th. Friday and Saturday performances are at 8 pm and Sunday performances are at 2 pm. Tickets can be purchased online at www.bcplayers.org, by calling 201-261-4200 or by visiting the box office at 298 Kinderkamack Road during regular box office hours.

St. Dunstan's Theatre Guild of Cranbrook Presents 'SPELLING BEE' thru Feb 1

St. Dunstan's Theatre Guild of Cranbrook is one of the oldest extant community theatres around and has been performing in its current theater since 1932. The group stays rigorously current, however, and this weekend will be offering a production of the Broadway favorite, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
