Steppenwolf Theatre Company welcomes acclaimed film and television star Claire Danes as the guest of honor at the annual Steppenwolf Salutes Women in the Arts fundraising luncheon today, February 4, 2016 at 12 noon. The luncheon features an in-depth conversation with Claire Danes about her incredible career and impact as a leading woman in the arts.

Four series have been newly-added to the programming lineup of free events at the David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center: The History of the World in 100 Performances with Adam Gopnik, and three series curated and produced by Award-winning theater directors Lonny Price and Matt Cowart: LC Dialogues, LC Originals, and Late Nights at the Atrium.

They will present the first professional production of Simon Stephen's HERONS since the play premiered at the Royal Court in 2001, directed by the Lyric's Artistic Director Sean Holmes. Whilst the Royal Opera will present, two contemporary operas, PLEASURE by Mark Simpson featuring well-known British soprano Lesley Garrett and the world premiere of Sarah Kane's 4:48 PSYCHOSIS by Philip Venables, both presented in association with the Lyric.

MasterVoices kicks off the 2015-2016 season with The Pirates of Penzance; or, The Slave of Dutyon October 15-16, 2015 at 8pm at New York City Center, 131 W. 55th Street, New York City. Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma announces casting and production teams for its annual summer shows, featuring new and returning national talent, including Mateja Govich, Christopher Rice, Kirsten Scott, Lindsie VanWinkle, Jeremy Benton, David Elder, Emily Skinner, Eleasha Gamble, Dan Sharkey, Lyn Cramer and more. All four productions -- OKLAHOMA!, MARY POPPINS, BIG FISH, and BILLY ELLIOT -- will perform at the Civic Center Music Hall in Oklahoma City.
