CMT today announced that pop and country powerhousesBackstreet Boys and Florida Georgia Line will join forces to perform never-before-heard renditions of each group's biggest hits during CMT CROSSROADS premiering Wednesday, August 30 at 10 PM ET/PT.

Almeida Artistic Director Rupert Goold said: 'We are thrilled to present three major new productions at the Almeida, including two world premieres and one rare revival. Spanning the Atlantic and beyond, this season is a timely and limitless interrogation into contemporary cultural anxieties and the power we have over our own lives.'

Tickets for Artist Series Concerts of Sarasota's 22nd season will be available online beginning July 15 at www.artistseriesconcerts.org. The season, which features a dynamic line-up of established and emerging classical, cabaret, jazz and pops artists, runs September 2017 through May 2018.  The performances will be held at a variety of venues throughout Sarasota County.

Berkshire Theatre Group announces the final production of its upcoming 2017 Summer Season will be Mark Medoff's Tony, Outer Critics Circle and Drama Desk Award-winning play, Children of a Lesser God, which began performances on Thursday, June 22 at The Fitzpatrick Main Stage. Mosaic Theater Company of DC presents the culmination of its expansive and hugely successful second season with the 2017 Voices From a Changing Middle East Festival. The Guthrie Theater has announced casting for the theater's summer musical, Sunday in the Park with George. Leading the cast will be Randy Harrison (Guthrie: The Glass Menagerie) who will play French pointillist painter George Seurat, a role originated by Mandy Patinkin in the 1984 Broadway production, and Erin Mackey (Guthrie: South Pacific) who will play Seurat's lover and model, Dot, a role originated by Bernadette Peters.
