MTV today announced the first-ever "MTV EMA Generation Change Award" to elevate and empower the fearless, original young people who are changing the world.  Five changemakers from around the globe, all under the age of 26, are nominated for the award, which will be presented during the "2018 MTV EMA" red carpet pre-show in Bilbao, Spain on November 4th.

The New York premiere of Ngozi Anyanwu's GOOD GRIEF, directed by Awoye Timpo, will begin performances the Vineyard Theatre (108 East 15th Street) on Thursday, October 11.  Opening night is set for Tuesday, October 30th.

The Metropolitan Opera presents the North American premiere of Marnie, an original Met commission by composer Nico Muhly and librettist Nicholas Wright, on October 19, 2018, with performances continuing until November 10. Based on Winston Graham's haunting novel, which also inspired the classic Alfred Hitchcock film, Marnie is conducted by Robert Spano in his Met debut and directed by Michael Mayer, who created the staging for the opera's world premiere at English National Opera in 2017. The November 10 matinee will be transmitted live to movie theaters throughout the world as part of the Met's Live in HD series.

St. Ann's Warehouse today reveal the cast and creative team for the Bard SummerScape production of Daniel Fish's reimagining of Rodgers and Hammerstein's landmark 1943 musical Oklahoma!, which kicks off the seasonon September 27, having first been staged by Bard's Fisher Center in 2015.
