Following a sell out run at the 2012 Edinburgh Festival, Maurice's Jubilee will go on a national tour from this month, January 2013. This is Olivier Award winning Nichola McAuliffe's most recent play and she will reprise her role as Katie, alongside Olivier Award winning Julian Glover (Maurice) and SheiLA Reid* (Helena). The full schedule for the 2013-2014 season will be announced on February 11.

A reporter renowned for his work with The New Yorker - and the bestselling author behind The Looming Tower and Going Clear: Scientology, Hollywood, and the Prison of Belief - Wright is also the playwright who penned My Trip to al Qaeda and The Human Scale. Now he debuts a fictional play about the last days of legendary journalist Oriana Fallaci. Don't miss this sizzling new script, which is directed by Oskar Eustis, stars Concetta Tomei and Marjan Neshat, and features an incredible team of designers. The 65th world premiere presented by Berkeley Rep, Fallaci begins previews in the Roda Theatre on March 8, opens March 13, and runs through April 21.

Broadway in Austin at Texas Performing Arts has announced an amazing 2013-2014 Season with four Austin premieres and two all-time favorites.

Now, Disney Theatrical Productions has confirmed that Aladdin, a new musical based on the Academy Award winning animated film, will play its pre-Broadway engagement at Toronto's Ed Mirvish Theatre(formerly the Canon) November 13, 2013 to January 12, 2014 and will open at Broadway's New Amsterdam Theatre in 2014. The show will feature music by Alan Menken; lyrics by the late Howard Ashman, Tim Rice and Chad Beguelin with a book by Beguelin. Casey Nicholaw will direct and choreograph.

Broadway's "Golden Couple", husband and wife team Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley, will bring their newest show 'He Said/She Said' to The Annenberg Theatre for one very special performance on February 23 at 8:00 pm. He Said/She Said is a musical conversation that features brand new arrangements by many of the Great American Songbook's leading composers including Fats Waller, Johnny Mercer, Cole Porter, Harold Arlen and Sammy Cahn. Program highlights will be ballads such as 'Something's Gotta Give,' 'Too Close for Comfort,' 'Come Back to Me,' and 'Love Me or Leave Me.' The couple most recently performed together on Broadway in the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical NEXT TO NORMAL.

The show grossed $1,493,961 for the week ending December 16. THE BOOK OF MORMON began performances on December 11, 2012, with performances now extended through September 8, 2013.

Bette Midler will star in John Logan's new play, I'll Eat You Last: A Chat With Sue Mengers, directed by Joe Mantello, opening on Broadway on Wednesday, April 24 at a Shubert theatre to be announced. Today, we're featuring Douglas Sills circa 1998. Sills made his Broadway debut in 1997's The Scarlet Pimpernel. Continuing the role in three other versions of the show, Sills received a Tony Award nomination. In 2004, Sills joined the Broadway-bound Chicago production of Monty Python's Spamalot. However, before the production began, Sills left on his own account due to reported 'major script changes.' In 2009, Sills starred opposite Kristin Chenoweth at the New York City Center production of Music in the Air.

Broadway In Chicago and the producers of the new musical THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, announced today that tickets will be available for 14 additional weeks of performances of THE BOOK OF MORMON at the Bank of America Theatre (18 West Monroe).
