Howard Hawks, the quintessential Hollywood director known for his mastery of many genres, will be the subject of a complete retrospective at Museum of the Moving Image from September 7 through November 10, 2013. The Museum will present 39 features. All of the films will be shown in 35mm-many in stunning restorations-except for Red Line 7000, which will be shown in 16mm.

Based on the 1939 MGM movie musical, this production includes all your favorite songs and characters from the film, including 'Over The Rainbow' and 'We're Off To See The Wizard' and features a cast of 36 professional and local actors of all ages, presented with full sets, costumes brilliantly designed by Diana Mann, and spectacular lighting effects out on the baseball field.

In MOTHER COURAGE AND HER CHILDREN, Olympia Dukakis delivers a searing performance in its title role. Dukakis is more than just a masterful actor, she delivers a Mother Courage who is strong, sassy and simply astonishing in her complexity. The entire ensemble of sixteen actors raises the reputation of Shakespeare & Company - already renowned for its lush, intelligible renditions of the Bard's greatest works - to new heights.

Broadway In The Park and Gensler present The Wizard Of Oz at this year's summer theatre festival, August 8, 9, 10 and 11 at El Segundo Recreation Park Softball Field.

Bucks County Playhouse (BCP) (Jed Bernstein, Producing Director) has announced the 2013 holiday show as Meet Me in St. Louis: A Live Radio Play, set in a similar fashion as last year's Bucks County holiday show It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play. The New York City Department of Parks & Recreation has announced Living in Sequence, an exhibition of comic book artwork on view at the Poe Park Visitor Center in the Bronx. The exhibition was organized by the Bronx Heroes and will be on view February 5 - March 8, 2013.

Charles Smith, author of THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO JAMES, which is now getting its Ohio Premiere at Ensemble Theatre, is an award-winning writer, and playwright-in-residence for the Indiana Repertory Theatre. He is also head of the Professional playwriting program at Ohio University.
