Producers Tony Ponturo and Fran Kirmser will present Lombardi at Broadway's Circle in the Square Theatre this fall starring Dan Lauria as Vince Lombardi and Judith Light as Marie Lombardi, written by Academy Award winning playwright Eric Simonson and directed by Tony Award nominee Thomas Kail. Joining Ponturo and Kirmser as special producing partner is the National Football League, marking the organization's first foray on Broadway. On Thursday, October 21, 2010 producers Tony Ponturo and Fran Kirmser, along with executive producer Nicole Kastrinos, will open Lombardi at the Circle in the Square Theatre on Broadway, directed by Tony nominee Thomas Kail. Previews will begin Thursday, September 23, 2010, following a July 22-28 engagement at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. Joining Ponturo and Kirmser as a special producing partner is the National Football League, marking the organization's first foray on Broadway.

Tom Viertel, Chairman of the Board of the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, has announced that Stephen Sondheim will present Harold Prince with the organization's Monte Cristo Award at a gala benefit on Monday, April 5, 2010 at Bridgewaters. The Award, given annually in recognition of a distinguished career exemplifying Eugene O'Neill's pioneering spirit and standard of excellence, has previously been presented to Kevin Spacey, Neil Simon, Jason Robards, Jr., Edward Albee, August Wilson, Zoe Caldwell, Brian Dennehy, Karl Malden, Arthur and Barbara Gelb, and Wendy Wasserstein.
