The New York Pops led by Vincent Falcone and Eric Stern, celebrates its hometown on Friday, November 7, 2008 at 8 p.m. at Carnegie Hall in a program entitled 'A Love Letter to New York' featuring classic songs about New York City and the world premieres of original songs about the city by composer Kenneth Laub. Clint Holmes headlines the concert with special guests Ashley Brown, Laura Bell Bundy and Linda Hart. The program also includes songs by Stephen Sondheim and Cole Porter. Ms. Bundy, Ms. Hart, and Mr. Holmes will make their Carnegie Hall debuts.

The Bay Area's award-winning Rough and Tumble presents Len Jenkin's adaptation of Voltaire's sardonically satiric masterpiece Candide.

Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee-Artistic Director, Mark W. Jones-Executive Director) announces its mainstage production of Little Shop of Horrors, a musical written by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman. It's a musical comedy to die for - literally! The musical is based on Roger Corman's 1960 sci-fi comedy and includes several show-stopping numbers including 'Skid Row (Downtown),' 'Somewhere That's Green,' and 'Suddenly Seymour,' as well as the title song. Little Shop of Horrors will run at the Millburn theatre from June 4 through July 6, 2008.

At the opening night of his current show at Feinstein's at the Regency, Donny Osmond announced that he will return as Gaston for the final performance of Beauty and the Beast on Sunday, July 29th.

Producer Harvey Weinstein is planning a high-wattage star cast for the upcoming film version of Nine, directed by Tony- and Oscar-nominee Rob Marshall

Donny Osmond, who recently played burly Gaston in Broadway's Beauty and the Beast, will perform at Feinstein's at the Regency from April 24th through 28th.

Donny Osmond, who plays Gaston in the show, celebrated his birthday on stage at Beauty in the Beast on Saturday, December 9th.
