The New York Philharmonic will present Rachmaninoff: A Philharmonic Festival, tonight, November 10-28, 2015, featuring 24-year-old Russian pianist Daniil Trifonov performing three of the composer's piano concertos and the Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini over the course of three consecutive all-Rachmaninoff programs, each led by a different conductor: Cristian Macelaru (in his Philharmonic debut), Neeme Jarvi, and Ludovic Morlot.

The Kiss Kiss Cabaret brings back the Roaring Twenties with its all-new 1920's-themed 'Speakeasy!', opening Friday, July 11 through Friday, August 29, 11 p.m., at the Greenhouse Theater Center, 2257 N. Lincoln Ave. 'Speakeasy!' features new opening and closing numbers, jazz-age-themed solos, anti-prohibition-styled drink specials and a musical nod to the Marx Brothers performed by the Claptrap Family Orchestra, plus the return of the popular intermission contests. This show will end the three and a half year open run of The Kiss Kiss Cabaret at the Greenhouse Theater Center, and usher the company into the new Uptown Underground in Fall 2014. About Face Theatre commemorates Pride Month with THE PRIDE PERFORMANCE SERIES, a spectacular line-up of readings, performances and special events throughout June celebrating the LGBTQIA experience. The series kicks off with a reading of Jonathan Tolins' comedy The Last Sunday in June, starring real life couple Michael Urie (of TV's Ugly Betty) and his partner Ryan Spahn. Urie is currently starring in Tolins' comedy Buyer & Cellar at Chicago's Broadway Playhouse. Up next, AFT Artistic Associate Paul Oakley Stovall leads a panel of Chicago artists through an exploration of Lesbians & Literature. Transport Group, the Drama Desk and OBIE award-winning theatre company, has announced that Almost, Maine, written by John Cariani and directed by Jack Cummings III, and I Remember Mama, written by John Van Druten and directed by Mr. Cummings, will comprise the company's 2013-14 season. Both productions will take place at the Gym at Judson, 243 Thompson Street, where Transport Group will now be in residency.
