Tulsa Opera announces a thrilling lineup of four productions for the 2016-2017 Season.

Guest conductor Jun Markl returns to lead the Utah Symphony for Carmina Burana on October 23-24 at 7:30 PM in Abravanel Hall. This concert will feature the Utah Symphony Chorus, The Madeleine Choir School, and two University of Utah choral ensembles - the University of Utah Chamber Choir and the A Cappella Choir -- performing alongside the orchestra and soloists Erin Morley, Mark Womack and Ryan Belongie in an explosive and powerful experience.

PITTSBURGH - Revel in two of Beethoven's most notable and majestic works during the Pittsburgh Symphony's BNY Mellon Grand Classics: BeethovenFest: The Immortal June 5-7. It features the composer's violin concerto and Symphony No. 9, with its famous "Ode to Joy."

For the first time in almost 30 years, an Australian conductor is to lead a major Australian symphony orchestra.

The Helpmann Awards, which has recognised the achievements in live performance in Australia since 2001, is the Australian industry's equivalent of the Tony Awards and the Olivier Awards.

The Helpmann Awards are Australia's version of Broadway's Tony Awards and London's Olivier Awards. The annual awards recognise achievement in live performance including musical theatre, contemporary music, comedy, cabaret, opera, classical music, theatre, dance and physical theatre.

The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and Associate Conductor Francesco Lecce-Chong present Leonard Bernstein's On the Town today, January 31-February 1, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts with soprano Georgia Jarman. The program features Bernstein's Three Dance Episodes from On the Town and On the Waterfront Symphonic Suite, Foss's Time Cycle, and Barber's Knoxville: Summer of 1915, Opus 24.
