Paper Mill Playhouse released a block of great seats today for the world premiere musical, Ever After for Father's Day Weekend including Friday, June 19 at 7:00pm, Saturday, June 20 at 7:00pm and Sunday, June 21 at 1:30pm and 7:00pm.

The 69th Annual Tony Awards are this Sunday June 7th at 8/9c hosted by Kristin Chenoweth and Alan Cumming. It's the biggest award show of the Broadway season and it closes out a long award season for Broadway and Off-Broadway musicals and plays. We can't help but wonder what chances this year's Best Musical and Best Play nominees have of taking home the ultimate prize. 

Awards shows are catnip for entertainment enthusiasts around the world not only because they are a celebration of the best of the breed in whatever medium or genre the presentation recognizes but also because a live telecast with so many stars and so many categories allows for ample room for entertainment - and error. According to the New York Times, a revival of KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN could be heading to Broadway! A reading for the show was held just last week starring Audra McDonald, Alan Cumming, and Steven Pasquale in the roles of Aurora, Molina, and Valentin respectively. Tony winner John Tiffany (Once, The Glass Menagerie) directed the reading. Producer Tom Kirdahy, who put the reading together, told NYT: "I think everyone is interested in having further conversations, but there is no game plan for a production at this point."

Kokandy Productions is pleased to announce the 20-member cast for its 2015 season opener, the hilarious and heartfelt musical comedy THE FULL MONTY with music and lyrics by David Yazbek, book by Terrence McNally, direction by Co-Artistic Director John D. It's inevitable, like enjoying UCF's hypnotic production, that you'll come face to face with Her kiss. Aurora is her name and playing the dance of death is her game. All I can say is, 'Sorry' to those of you that missed out on UCF's KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN.
